Kirin battery, the third generation CTP technology, Kirin battery system integration reaches a new high in the world, the volume utilization rate exceeds 72%, the energy density can reach 255Wh/kg, and the vehicle can easily achieve 1,000 kilometers of driving range.
Kirin batteries are essentially lithium-ion batteries, mainly structural innovations, including both lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium-ion batteries.

Features of Kirin Battery
First, the CTP3.0 battery adds a water cooling plate between the two cells to reduce the heat conduction of the two adjacent cells and prevent thermal runaway;
Second, it can meet high-voltage fast charging and supports 4C charging.
Third, battery life can be greatly improved because the water-cooled sheet has a buffering effect;
Fourth, the specific energy is increased. Kirin batteries can increase the utilization space. The energy density of lithium iron phosphate system is 160wh/kg, and the ternary high nickel can reach 250wh/kg, which can hold 13% more power than the 4680 battery.

China’s pure electric models equipped with Kirin batteries are: Jikrypton 001, Jikrypton 009, Jikrypton 001FR, Nezha S, Wenjie M9, Lixiang pure electric models, and Xiaomi SU7.
