2025 marks a new stage in the globalization process of China's lithium battery industry, with "capacity landing" as the core. It shifts from early strategic announcements to large-scale production in Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions, promoting the systematic export of the entire industry chain from positive electrode materials, separators to equipment. In Southeast Asia, Longpan Technology's first phase of an annual production capacity of 30000 tons of lithium iron phosphate factory in Indonesia was put into operation at the beginning of the year. As Indonesia's first large-scale LFP project, the lithium battery positive electrode base has achieved stable shipments and started the construction of the second phase with a production capacity of 90000 tons; The 5 billion yuan long-term order signed with EVE Energy directly empowers the supply chain guarantee of Southeast Asian lithium battery plants. Malaysia's layout is accelerating synchronously: EVE Energy's first overseas lithium battery factory will start production in January, and Xingyuan Material's high-performance separator factory will start production in late June, driving the localization of core lithium battery materials such as positive electrodes and separators. In the European direction, lithium battery producers are densely settled - Tianci Materials has invested 2 billion yuan in Morocco to build an integrated base with an annual output of 150000 tons of electrolyte; Hungary gathers Zhongtian Technology's 640 million square meter diaphragm base and Kunlun New Materials electrolyte project; Zhongke Electric is planning a 200000 ton negative electrode material base in Oman, reflecting the diversified global layout of leading enterprises. This turning point from "announcement" to "landing" stems from the dual wheel drive: downstream lithium battery factories such as CATL and EVE Energy have an urgent demand for local supply chains during the 2025 production capacity release period; The competitive pressure of the domestic lithium battery industry chain gross profit margin falling below 4% has forced it to go global. Synchronized completion of equipment loop: 56% of new orders for Haimuxing Laser in the first quarter of 2025 will come from overseas lithium battery projects, and the core equipment will be accelerated to support the newly built lithium battery plants in Southeast Asia and Europe. With the close collaboration between material factories, equipment suppliers, and battery factories in Indonesia, Hungary, and other places, China's lithium battery industry is achieving global output of technology, standards, and industrial ecology, reshaping the international competitive landscape.
