Battery pack technology is a technology that assembles battery cells, battery management system (BMS), structural parts, thermal management system and other components into a complete battery system that can be directly powered by energy.

一.Components of a pack
Cell: It is the core of the battery pack, which is responsible for storing and releasing electrical energy, such as lithium-ion cells, nickel-metal hydride cells, etc.
Battery Management System (BMS): equivalent to the "intelligent housekeeper", it is mainly responsible for monitoring the voltage, current, temperature and other parameters of the battery, charging and discharging the battery, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the battery.
Structural parts: equivalent to the "skeleton", providing mechanical support and protection for the entire battery system, while considering the lightweight design.
Thermal management system: Like a "thermostat", the battery is dissipated and insulated through air cooling, liquid cooling, phase change materials, etc., to ensure that the battery is in the appropriate operating temperature range.

二.Battery Pack Technical Parameters
Capacity: A measure of the capacity of a battery pack to store electrical energy, measured in ampere-hours (Ah) or kilowatt-hours (kWh), which determines the battery life or power supply time of the device.
Energy density: The amount of electrical energy that can be stored per unit mass or unit volume, measured in watt-hours per kilogram (Wh/kg) or watt-hour per liter (Wh/L), the higher the energy density, the better the battery pack performance.

Charge/discharge efficiency: The efficiency of energy conversion during charge-discharge, expressed as a percentage, the higher the efficiency, the higher the energy utilization rate, and the lower the energy consumption of the equipment.
Cycle life: the number of times that a certain performance can be maintained in the charge and discharge cycle, the longer the cycle life, the longer the service life, and the lower the cost of use.
Safety: including protection measures against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit and thermal management system to ensure reliability and stability during use.
